Global Technology Enterprises Corporation USA (GTECUSA) was founded in 1994 by Ben Orenstein and Michael Sholklapper. GTEC USA is a subsidiary of Global Technology Enterprises Corporation (GTEC), a $30 million company specializing in the sales, marketing, and distribution of peripherals and components for the PC industry. Functioning as an authorized distributor, GTECUSA's mission is to provide the hardware and sostware competively priced to the Imaging and Document Management Industry. GTECUSA Executive Group Ben Orenstein, President and Founder. Mr Orenstein has over 25 years of experience in the electronics and computer industry. Previous to starting GTEC, he served as Vice President of Intercontinental Operations for Western Digital Corporation, responsible for operations in Mexico, Latin America, Southwest Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Other experience includes domestic sales and engineering management at Western Digital, Mostek and Dataproducts. Michael Sholklapper, Vice President, Document Imaging Division. Michael has over 20 years of engineering and sales experience with OEM and distribution accounts. Michael worked for Toshiba for the last 7 years and prior to that worked for AMD, Monolithic Memories, and Mostek Corp. Perry P. Lev-On, Director of Sales, brings over 25 years of experience in corporate, sales and marketing management in both tangible and intangible products. He has taught at Universities in the U.S. and abroad and consulted on organizational development issues to private and public companies as well as to educational and governmental institutions. Mr. Lev-On holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of California in Santa Barbara and a M.S. degree from San Francisco State University.
