VISION: Making the world a better place - By supporting local communities and help developing sustainable projects. WHAT IS GLOBAL CONNECTION? Global Connection is a Danish NGO working to make it accessible for people to make a difference by helping out on sustainable projects that already exist in developing countries. We believe that it is rewarding and exciting to support the good work that is already out there and we want to empower this process. Through close relationships with local organizations in developing countries we match volunteers to projects in order for the volunteer to contribute in the best possible way, thus both organization and volunteer profit from the cooperation. By creating access to development projects around the world, our goal is to combat poverty and promote human rights in vulnerable areas and we strongly believe that by empowering and supporting our local partners we are able to accomplish that. WHAT DOES GLOBAL CONNECTION WANT IN A PARTNER? You are an NGO that shares our passion for developing and helping societies both on micro and macro level and that your team is ready to use personal drive and abilities, both social and professional, to reach these goals. In Global Connection we believe in sustainable development which is locally grounded and locally driven. It is important for us that the projects and organizations we support are transparent, trustworthy, independent and self-generating. Global Connection is always looking to expand and find new partners in order to make a broader impact on development work. The work will thus expand with the success of sending dedicated volunteers out to support sustainable projects all over the world.
