***Sadly, due to funding challenges, Glint is no longer operating*** Glint is a profit-with-purpose, social enterprise that creates personal and professional development opportunities that empower and allow positive life choices to be made. When you chose to engage with Glint to provide impactful leadership, management and team development programmes for yourself, or your organisation, your investment enables us to support young people and adults dealing with mental health and wellbeing challenges, within our community. Our primary method of working is through Horse Assisted Development programmes – experiential learning though interaction with horses/ponies. However, we also explore other innovative and creative methods that encourage and support the development of key life skills. Where appropriate we incorporate these into our programmes so that we provide the best possible environment for individuals to grow and flourish. A very wise man (Aristotle) once said "Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all" and we agree. Our horses are the true educators in our work. They don’t do role-play, so noticing how they respond to our behaviour and energy offers us a unique insight into ourselves and our relationship to the world and to other people, aiding us in: - Developing key life skills - Building confidence - Becoming emotionally empowered - Improving relationships - Managing stress - Communicating effectively
