Gilmore Prep Academy Information

Gilmore Prep was created out of a passion for literacy, particularly early literacy experiences. We are devoted to developing reading skills in emergent readers in a stimulating, nurturing environment. Young children's early literacy experiences are critically important to their later success in school and life. Therefore, the teachers at Gilmore Prep believe in providing age appropriate hands-on, literacy-based experiences combining the phonics and whole language approaches. Through these early literacy activities, we will also help students grow emotionally, physically, and socially. Preschool is an important step in a child's education, and sets the stage for all future school involvement.Therefore, we believe that early literacy is an investment in the future.
