No longer operating, Gekido was a leading developer of realtime 3d middleware from 2003 until 2008. Our tools and technology were licensed by tens of thousands of developers around the world, from government agencies (NASA, SOE) to single-person developers, hobbyists and students. In 2008, Gekido sold the IP for their latest game engine 'GameCore' to Helios Interactive. Gekido's Founder & CEO Mike Wuetherick has since gone on to found Super Mega Awesome Games, partnered with Johnathan Skinner, Gekido's lead programmer from 2005 on. They are continuing the tradition of building advanced 3d and realtime technology for the PC, Web (via Flash 11's Stage 3d support) and Mobile (Android / iOS).
