We are Ascendant: An independent AAA video game studio with ownership and creative control over our original game, Immortals of Aveum. We’re passionate and creative. Obsessed with originality. Our open-hearted team of experienced and inspired creators are empowered to have a meaningful impact on the stories we tell and the games we create. We are a distributed team across North America with our home base in downtown San Rafael, California, in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded by industry veterans , our passionate and experienced group of storytellers has led the creation of beloved franchises such as Dead Space, Call of Duty, Halo, Telltale’s The Walking Dead, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Borderlands, The Wolf Among Us, Mafia, Tomb Raider, Gears of War, Metal Gear Solid, The Elder Scrolls, BioShock and more. Immortals of Aveum, our debut single-player magic shooter and original fantasy IP, will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 22, 2023.
