Gate121 Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian technology company, formed in April, 2000. Our core product is ShiftMatch (formerly Cascom), a Software-As-A-Service workforce solution specifically designed for casual staff management. ShiftMatch uses sophisticated staff-profile to work-request matching logic to deliver the most cost effective, qualified staff to their preferred work assignments. SMS text messaging, email and the internet is used to offer, accept and confirm shifts ShiftMatch has dramatically reduced the amount of management time filling vacant shifts (up to 90%), which enables management to focus on more strategic staff resourcing and training issues. ShiftMatch’s reporting provides significant information on work histories and performance management and combined with inbuilt API’s for agencies and customers to interface directly with the system and retrieve data at any time, ShiftMatch can provide an unprecedented real-time view of the workforce. For the casual staff, ShiftMatch aligns work preferences without prejudice and creates a stronger sense of community through communication which increases recruitment and retention rates. ShiftMatch has been developed in conjunction with Northern Sydney, Central Coast Area Health and has been in operation since 2004. There are currently 300,000 nurses, doctors, teachers, child carers, hospitality staff and factory workers being placed into approximately 350,000 shifts per month in 1000’s of facilities across Australia.
