Gala Rugby Information

Gala Rugby - founded in 1875 - is one of the oldest rugby clubs in the world. Gala is proud to be home to some of the greatest players in the game and to this day is still providing a platform for future talent to shine through. We are incredibly proud of our history, and we continue to adapt to create even more maroon moments. Over the past 140 years, we have adapted to provide the very best players possible. We are now proud to house all of Galashiels Youth Rugby Clubs under the Gala Rugby name, and sharing assets such as management, coaches, and facilities we hope to create the club of the future, with the proven history and track record to support it.
