Farm Fresh To You, one of the nation’s leading Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs, connects consumers to the farms that grow their food by delivering fresh organic produce from our Capay Organic farm and trusted partner farms, right to the doorsteps of homes and offices in areas of California and Nevada.
Farming organically since 1976, our Capay Organic farm harvests over 130 varieties of fruits and vegetables. We are steadfast in our commitment to build the collective strength of small farms through the sharing of scalable systems and exemplary food safety and sustainable agriculture practices. Our CSA continues to grow with our commitment to providing consumers with easy access to healthy, organic produce and excellent customer service.
At the heart of our company culture is collaboration, innovation and accountability not only to ourselves and our customers, but also to our community and greater food system. We are both energized and inspired by our family of employees and are certain that their integrity has helped build our success. We are passionate about the work we do and have a good time doing it.
In addition to our CSA deliveries, our Capay Organic produce, currently distributed through Creekside Organics, can also be found in area restaurants, farmers markets, and produce departments.
Since our founding in 1991, The Food Project has grown into a nationally-recognized organization that works at the intersection of youth, food, and community. Each year we hire 120 teens to steward our farms, because we believe that food is a unique vehicle for creating personal and social change.
We believe that everyone should have access to fresh, local, healthy, affordable food regardless of age, gender identity, socio-economic background, or the color of your skin.
Over the past 25 years, we have grown from a single two-acre farm in Lincoln, Mass., to an organization that now maintains 70 acres of both urban and suburban farms in five towns on the North Shore and in Greater Boston.
The Food Project aims to transform our food system into an equitable and inclusive model that is community-controlled and supports food justice for all. Working in partnership, we can realize the vision of a more sustainable and just food system.
Local Roots was founded on the power of community and good food. We connect fellow New Yorkers and sustainable family farmers aiming to heal our broken food system with a healthier, more delicious future for us all. We’re a minority female-owned small business.
Since our first market pickup in 2011, we’ve distributed over 60,000 pounds of sustainable produce per year — connecting 1,500+ New York households with freshly harvested and nutrient-dense food sourced from over 15 family farms and 20+ small-batch purveyors. We deliver hand crafted small batch provisions or provide neighborhood pick ups in community oriented markets.
The two Local Roots Cafes can be found serving Farm-To-Table Chinese Comfort food, locally sourced Bubble Tea, wines and beers. In Chelsea, we’re at the Market 57 kiosk at the @BeardFoundation Food Hall. In Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn the cafe caters, hosts parties, and community events.
