Utility Business Media, Inc.- UBM began in 2004 as Incident Prevention - iP a safety magazine dedicated to the hazardous utility industry work environment. The annual iP Safety Conference & Expo brings the magazine in 3-D to all who attend. In the past several years UBM operations have expanded to include the association management of the Utility Safety & Ops Leadership Network - USOLN a membership organization offering certification programs specific to the utility industry. In just 5 years this 501c6 organization has extended credentials to 900+ utility safety professionals. In 2011, UBM introduced it's newest business to business publication, Utility Fleet Professional - UFP to address the unique vehicle and equipment market serving utilities and related contractors. In 2015 the first ever Utility Fleet Conference was co-located at the ICUEE show in Louisville, KY. In 2014 the Incident Prevention Institutewas launched. The Incident Prevention Institute (iPi) - iPi is dedicated to a higher level of learning for utility safety and operations leaders. Online, onsite or at your facility our expert instructors are ready to share their knowledge and utility industry experiences. All iPi instructors have enjoyed lengthy careers working in the utility industry.
