The French Library is a non-profit U.S. organization that provides the general public with affordable access to language and cultural education programs. While French culture is our historic focus, we actively promote the discovery and appreciation of other equally important cultures. Through our activities, we inspire our diverse community of children, teens, and adults to explore, understand, embrace, and share the richness of their cultures. Our goal is to unite people in the French spirit of joie de vivre to share ideas, establish mutual respect and make lasting friendships. You don’t need to speak French to feel at home. Many of our programs are in English! Our library houses the largest private collection of French books, periodicals, and DVDs available in the United States. Our school, a member of the Alliance Française network, offers language classes and programs for adults and children. Our cultural programming showcases the many aspects of Francophone cultures through numerous lectures, concerts, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, art exhibitions, holiday celebrations, and more. So come visit our beautiful townhouse in Boston’s Back Bay and discover where OUI can take you!
