Frankly Lighting is a professional Lighting Design firm with supporting consulting Electrical Engineering services founded in 2007. We are certified as a DBE/SBE and M/WBE business. We are USGBC (United States Green Building Council) members. Lighting Design involves more than selecting luminaires. It is a creative process utilizing the correct media to bring an Architectural vision to reality. This is a combination of art and technical knowledge. How to balance the knowledge of when and where to use technology; to predict performance; to use the tools to calculate the results. Without this , the result cannot be award-winning projects, within budget. Our projects range from corporate to commercial facilities, public transportation, institutions, retail, to high-end residential. We design interior to exterior, landscapes, facades, bridges and monuments. We provide Lighting Calculations and Modeling utilizing AGI software. We help design Custom Luminaires and write Lighting Ordinances. We provide energy calculations utilizing Comcheck. Tax deductions and rebates are pursued. We assist in LEED Certified building design. Our goal is to make projects as energy efficient as possible utilizing the tools that are appropriate for the budget. We are sensitive to Dark Sky concerns, following all ordinances. We try to eliminate glare and spill light without removing light from the beauty of the Architecture and landscape.
