Frame King Information

Established in 1978. Frame King of Linwood Plaza, Fort Lee, established 1978, has moved into Westwood Gallery 10 Westwood Avenue in Westwood, N.J. Michael Fitzsimmons, owner of Frame King and Westwood Gallery, has opened a state of the art showroom inside Westwood Gallery. The center piece of the new showroom is a digital imaging system which allows the customer to see the completed frame, matting and artwork before placing the order. It features side by side comparison of different designs, making decisions easier and eliminating unexpected "surprises". This becomes particularly valuable given everyone's need for time management. Not only does it make the design process faster, it also permits a drop off design service where the options are sent by e-mail and the whole order is completed online. It is in framing that the two galleries excel by being voted Best Art Gallery in 2009 by readers of 201 magazine and Top 5 frame shop by readers of the Bergen Record in 2008. Michael Fitzsimmons has a fine art background and has worked in the art and frame field since 1983. In 1988 he took over Frame King, an independantly owned frame shop and moved from Washington Bridge Plaza to Linwood Plaza in Fort Lee, New Jersey.Partner and manager Gary Heise took over the reins when Westwood Gallery opened in 1999.The strength of any business is in it's people and our galleries have the most knowlegeable and friendly designers and framers of any gallery.
