In the 1970’s the owner of a frame shop in Toledo, Ohio tapped into four innovations--the sectional metal frame, toll-free telephone numbers, bank cards, and UPS home delivery--to create the DIY framing industry and a company called American Frame. More than forty years on we are still tapping innovations, particularly the Internet, to provide the most affordable, high quality framing supplies and art services available, including professional printing and a free online art gallery for artists and photographers who wish to showcase and sell their work.
