Forward Design | Architecture is a residential architecture firm based in Kansas City, Missouri. Founded in 2011 by architect Chris Fein, Forward is comprised of dedicated design professionals committed to producing architecture at the highest levels of quality, execution and service. Every project is designed to be responsive to the individual needs of each client, user and location. By searching for and embracing the uniqueness of each situation, we uncover methods for innovative design. Our award-winning work can be seen across the United States, enabling us to navigate the unique localized needs of a variety of physical environments and governing agencies. Our portfolio ranges from single-family home renovation work to large new construction projects for Yale University, and our work is frequently published in regional and national publications. In addition to architectural design services, our firm offers a variety of other design and consultation services: life safety surveys, existing building assessments, planning, interior design, and furniture design.
