Force Solaire is a green technology innovator and developer with patented and patent-pending revolutionary solar power generation technologies. We focus on high-value design and production of distributed and portable power solutions using our breakthrough SunTrap solar technology. Force Solaire SunTrapPower™ is a patented solar collector increasing efficiency, operating life, size and cost over conventional PV panels. The collector includes a three-dimensional array of cells, including a base-layer and at least one elevated-tier above and separated from the base-layer, so that at least some light passes between cells of the tier to the base-layer. In 2004, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) tested the SunTrap, which was utilizing 32% efficient Group III-V cells, and a 44% efficiency was measured and verified, for a 27% overall gain in efficiency. With today’s 38% efficient (flat mounted) Group III-V cells, the SunTrap™ will achieve a 50 % plus efficient receiver – meaning more than half of the sun’s energy is turned into electricity! SunTrap™ has a very small footprint. Approximately 100 sq ft footprint vs 1080 sq ft for conventional PV systems with 22.5 kW production. Force Solaire SunTrapPower™ is well-suited for residential, commercial and industrial applications; for on-grid and off-grid use. It has the potential of making Force Solaire a key player in a multi-trillion dollar electric power market. For the first time ever, Force Solaire will be able to provide electric power to hundreds of millions of people around the world that live without electricity today without expending trillions of dollars on power transmission and distribution infrastructure.
