Food Frontier is the independent think tank on alternative proteins in Australia and New Zealand. From 2017 to 2025, our work focused on growing our region’s protein supply with new, sustainable and nutritious options that create value for businesses, farmers and consumers. In 2026, we joined forces with Cellular Agriculture Australia, integrating to create a single, diversified organisation. Today, through CAA, that work continues — with a focus on accelerating the commercialisation and adoption of emerging food production technologies and ingredient innovation — including cultivated, fermented and plant-protein applications — and their integration across the food system.
