Cybernetica has unique experience in building the world renown digital society in Estonia, but also in other countries. Cybernetica’s driving factor is that our work is meaningful and has a wide impact. Essentially, we use transformative technology and cutting edge knowhow for the greater good. Today, our tech is used by governments and organisations in more than 35 countries; from the Caribbean to Ukraine, Greenland, USA, Indonesia and Japan. In addition to e-governance and information security, we also operate in the defence industry, for example, our border surveillance systems form an integral part of the security of the EU and NATO. We are the go to company for essential, secure, integrated processes, mission-critical software and systems with a proven track record. For example, we have developed unique digital identity, secure data exchange, and i-voting solutions, each with rigid security measures. Our engineers were responsible for developing the Estonian national data exchange layer, X-Road, that forms the backbone of the Estonian advanced digital society. We have also worked on several other complex and mission critical systems, like tax and customs or cyber threat intelligence for the Estonian state. The Association of Estonian Security Companies (ETEL) was established in 1993 by leading security companies with the goal of uniting as wide a circle of security service providers as possible and to represent its members' common interests in dealings with central and local government and other institutions. An important area of activity is developing cooperation with law enforcement authorities and other interested parties in matters pertaining to security in society. The Association of Estonian Security Companies devotes constant attention to shaping the relations between its members in the spirit of good business practices and following principles of fair competition throughout the security market. Belonging to the association is a token of the company's heightened requirements and also indicates to customers that the company is more trustworthy. We were one of the founding members of the Association of Estonian Security Companies in 1993. As a leader on the Estonian security market we take a serious attitude toward our market leader's role of makin g s o c i e t y m ore s e c u r e . With our active participation in the Association, we make a significant contribution to ensuring the development of the security field. The Estonian Defence Industry Union is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 and dedicated to representing and defending members ' i n t e r e s t s , c r e a t i n g n e w o p p o r t u n i t i e s i n r e l a t i o n s h i p s w i t h c o nsu mer s , d e ve l ope r s a n d ma nu f a c tu r er s o f d e fe nce i n d us t ry p r o d u c ts, promoting cooperation with Estonia and international organizations, and collecting, distributing and intermediating to its members and the public information pertaining to the Union's area of activity.
