First Draft Publishing Information

First Draft Publishing is an independent publishing house. We give researchers, professionals and the interested public access to primary and secondary sources. We introduce new voices and the next generation of leading authorities in their field, as well as accounts from individuals who have shaped events as participants themselves. First Draft Publishing was founded by Felix Kuehn and Alex Strick van Linschoten in 2014. We operate on a niche model. We take on specialised books and manuscripts, find primary sources in foreign languages and work to publish these in English translation. We operate primarily as a publisher of e-book formats and print-on-demand texts, allowing us to publish work other publishing houses would consider to be of minimal commercial value. Our portfolio will enrich your understanding and fill in history’s blank spots.
