FIP Ventures consists of Matthew Blesso, age 36, investor and high-end real estate developer, who is president of Blesso Properties and won the Americna Institute of Architects’ NewYork State Award of Excellence for design in 2009; Andrew Kirtzman, age 48, journalist, author, and owner of the Madison Fire Island Pines guesthouse; and Seth Weissman, age 26, managing partner of real estate investment firm Weissman Equities and summer resident of Fire Island Pines. FIP Ventures’ purchase comprises the Pavilion disco and the grocery store below it; Hotel Ciel, formerly the Botel; the Blue Whale and Bay Bar restaurants; the gym; the clothing store; and numerous other commercial and residential properties, bought from Eric von Kuersteiner and his partner, Tony Roncolli.
