FIC S.p.A. was established in 1951 and nowadays it is still a FAMILY-RUN BUSINESS focused on HEAT EXCHANGERS based on PILLOW PLATES. Located in Mese, north of Milan, the factory stretch over an area of more than 40,000 m2. Around 130 employees work more than 1,500 tonnes of stainless steel every year utilising modern equipment such as THREE LASER WELDING LINES and ONE RESISTANCE SPOT WELDING LINE. International expansion of FIC has occurred in over 60 countries. FIC production can be divided into three families: FOOD, REFRIGERATION and INDUSTRIAL. 1. FOOD: products for the whole food industry: -MILK COOLING TANKS -PASTEURIZERS AND AGEING TANKS FOR ICE CREAM -BEER FERMENTERS AND BEER AGEING TANKS -EGG TANKS -OTHER PROCESS TANKS FOR ALIMENTARY INDUSTRY. 2. REFRIGERATION: systems to produce chilled water at +1°C as: -ICE ACCUMULATION FOR CHILLED WATER -DIRECT PRODUCTION OF CHILLED WATER -FALLING FILM SYSTEM -FIC is also the world leader in EUTECTIC PLATES for REFRIGERATED TRANSPORT. 3. INDUSTRIAL: provides specific and customised heat exchange solutions based on PILLOW PLATES. The applications can be found in every industrial sector, such as the chemical, oil and gas, pulp and paper, food, energy, mining, pharmaceuticals and textile industries.
