FC Frederick is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit soccer club, with centralized management and oversight of all players, teams and coaches. The club has approximately 500 travel-level players that compete in some of the best leagues and tournaments in the US. The Academy program, with more than 300 players ages u6 to u11, has been called "one of the finest youth development programs of any youth soccer club in the United States."
