Farago & Associates Information

Peter is the founder and president of Farago & Associates. He is mainly responsible for sourcing new business opportunities and for developing and maintaining all client relationships for the company. His background consists of 17 years working in client services for multi-national advertising agencies, including DDB Needham and the J. Walter Thompson Company. He has handled such major accounts as McDonald's, Burger King, Goodyear, Kodak, and Audi of America. Peter met his wife, Joan, at Michigan State University, and they have been married for 33 years. They have three sons - Peter, who is a resident MD at St. Johns Hospital in Detroit, Scott, who just graduated with a BA in Music from Columbia College of Chicago, and Brent, who is an associate in the company. Since 1994, Farago & Associates has worked mainly with newspapers across the United States, providing them with turnkey custom publishing solutions designed to generate revenue and increase market share. Farago & Associates is actively publishing or producing over 40, four-color periodic publications, ranging from money-saving coupon books to elegant home magazines. An important aspect of the company's philosophy is the maintenance of strong and close relationships with each of its business partners. This results in the ability to anticipate and respond more effectively to client needs and being able to assist them in meeting the challenges that arise both in the short and long-term. Farago & Associates is proud to count many relationships with companies they serve that have been enjoyed for ten or more years. Newspaper clients include the Bowling Green Daily News, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the Omaha World-Herald, the Peoria Journal-Star, the Dayton Daily News and the Toledo Blade to name a few.
