Eyeball Media publishes a network of print titles, web-sites and social media portals with relevant and engaging content, created for people 16-35. Our DNA includes publishing Scene Magazine, a pace-setting Queensland street press every week since 1993; as well as in Victoria during the early 2000s. Then, there were more Scene Magazines on the streets of Australia than any other street title. Scene Magazine has been the media partner of choice for literally hundreds of festivals, club and arts events, and has enjoyed ongoing annual media partnerships with respected organisations such as Brisbane Powerhouse and La Boite Theatre. We boast a ton of firsts and innovations in our industry, including but certainly not limited to:- the first street press in the country to change from tabloid newsprint to A4 gloss throughout- the first street press to publish digital flipbooks- the only street press to publish commemorative edition split-run covers- the only street press to have printed 5 colour covers for special editions- tipped-on cds to our cover- designing and producing custom magazines for clientsNationally, we published Junior, Australia's highest circulating street mag, last audited at 81,450 copies. In the late 2000s we published Pocket, a handy (as the name suggests) gloss, A5 guide to venues in S.E. Qld. Between 1996 and 2003, we operated Café Scene, an iconic 24-hour/ 7 day operation on the corner of Ann and Brunswick Streets, in the heart of eclectic Fortitude Valley, where Universal Store now stands. Café Scene was part of the internet café revolution, and served as a ticket outlet for gigs and raves long before ticketing was commercialised.
