Global Switchboards Pty Ltd is a privately owned company located in Ormeau, Queensland. Our main focus of business is the design and manufacture of custom built switchboards for power distribution and motor control. Established since1998, the management and staff at Global Switchboards Pty Ltd have many years' experience on numerous major projects in Australia and the South Pacific. Global Switchboards have sought accreditation as a licensed assembler of the pre-tested modular switchboard system - Elsteel Techno Module. The Elsteel system has been designed developed and tested in Europe and carries certification up to 100KA 7100 AMPS. Our switchboard designs are produced in Auto Cad, which allows for the production of concise engineering drawings and the ability and flexibility to meet our various customers continually changing needs. Although our main focus is associated with the commercial power distribution, we also have involvement with Generator Synchronising, Air Conditioning, Process Control and Automation for various industry groups and end users. We also have in place a Site Services Division, which is constantly on standby to provide service in the areas of break down repairs, rebuilds, maintenance and extensions to existing switchboards and control systems.

In fact, Johns son Robert, who started in the business as an apprentice toolmaker has taken the company to new heights in his current role as Managing Director. Ampere recently moved to a modern warehouse in Port Melbourne which will give its customers even greater service.
