Ewoke Information

Ewoke is a non-profit organization that aims to encourage people to alter their behaviors, so as to ensure that the severity of the energy crisis does not grow out of control. Although several attempts have been made by organizations before in the field of energy conservation, our concept is entirely unique and our ideology is a little different. We believe that efficient technologies and alternative sources of energy are of no use until the people actually put them into use. The website operates on the principle of ‘gamification’ , using game elements and techniques to motivate or ‘evoke’ people in order to act smartly. That is the reason why we chose to name this ‘ewoke’, an attempt to ‘evoke’ people and ‘wake’ them up.
