The Evanston History Center is a non-profit educational and cultural institution established in 1898 to preserve and share Evanston history and history beyond the city. Housed in a National Landmark building, once the home of U.S. Vice President Charles Gates Dawes, EHC offers house and walking tours, exhibits, research room and archives, and a wide-range of educational programs and presentations.
