The National Rugby League (NRL) is the world’s premier rugby league competition run by the Australian Rugby League Commission. The NRL is responsible for administering the NRL & NRLW Telstra Premiership, State of Origin series, NRL All Stars, Australian Kangaroos and Jillaroos. The NRL is also responsible for participation and development of grassroots Rugby League in Australia and 2017 saw record numbers of participants, with a significant increase in female participation. Our aim is to have more people playing the game as well as more people watching than ever before. As an organisation, we are very proud of our work in the community and our industry leading programs including School to Work, State of Mind and In League in Harmony are highly recognised and regarded. La Ligue nationale de rugby (LNR) a été crée le 24 juillet 1998. Elle est une association loi 1901 qui a pour mission de gérer le secteur professionnel du rugby, par délégation du ministère de la Jeunesse et des Sports et de la Fédération Française de Rugby. La LNR est une instance d’organisation, de contrôle, de développement, de gestion, de promotion du rugby professionnel, d’aide et de conseil aux clubs. Dans ce cadre, elle : - Organise, gère et réglemente les compétitions nationales professionnelles, tant sur le plan sportif que sur le plan financier (championnats de France RUGBY TOP 14 et PRO D2) ; - Assure la promotion et le développement du secteur professionnel des clubs de rugby français, et le représente dans la gestion des coupes d’Europe ; - Négocie et commercialise les droits de télévision et de partenariat du championnat de France de rugby TOP 14 et PRO D2 ; - Assure la défense des intérêts matériels et moraux du rugby professionnel.
