Established in 2001, Eurail Group G.I.E. is the organisation dedicated to the marketing and management of Eurail and Interrail products. Based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, the organisation is wholly owned by over 35 European railway and shipping companies and owns Eurail.com BV, an e-commerce company selling passes through www.eurail.com and www.interrail.eu. Today, over half a million people of all ages use Eurail and Interrail Passes each year to experience the freedom of borderless travel and discover Europe via more than 250,000 km of interconnected railways.
