EquityCommunications has been helping Chairmen of companies undertake independent, externally facilitated Board evaluations since 2003. Every Board evaluation exercise we undertake is specifically designed to meet the requirements of the company and the Chairman of the Board with whom we work. Our approach is always practical, non-intrusive, flexible and responsive to the needs of the company and Board. The reports we prepare for the Chairman and Board draw on our years of experience in conducting independent evaluations. Working in partnership with our clients, as 'part of their team' we provide independent, cost-effective and worthwhile Board evaluations which deliver detailed analysis, tangible insights and practical solutions to issues. Recommendations and advice we offer our clients are clear, concise and impartial. In addition to undertaking a Board process review, we are able to offer an individual assessment framework which allows an initial evaluation of directors' general and personal qualities. The individual assessments are conducted completely confidentially and our approach incorporates an element of self-appraisal combined with some peer group judgement. Because EquityCommunications do not offer other ancillary services related to Board evaluation (e.g. executive search, legal, corporate finance or accountancy advice) our clients can be confident the Board evaluation reports we prepare contain no conflicts of interest.
