EQ-Connect works with online gambling operators to create a shared view of a players risk of becoming a problem gambler. EQ-Connect and our partner operators acknowledge the challenge of keeping a customer safe when any single operator only has a partial view of their activity. We are thus seeking to develop a holistic view and a common risk score, thus allowing operators to make better informed decisions about if, how and when to intervene or interrupt. By doing this we are seeking to solve the problem of 'going next door', whereby an individual customer can avoid operator controls by simply opening new accounts with different operators. Undiluted data leads to better insight which leads to better decisions which leads to safer customers.
