The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) is the foremost Pan-African multilateral financial institution devoted to financing and promoting intra- and extra-African trade. The Bank was established in October 1993 by African governments, African private and institutional investors, and non-African investors. The Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda) is an agency of the Department of Small Business Development. We provide business development and non-financial support services for small enterprises and co-operatives, through our national network in partnership with other role players in small enterprise support. Seda has a presence in some townships and rural areas and has programmes targeting youth and women reaching over 12 000 enterprises nationwide. Seda also implements programmes targeted at business development in areas prioritised by the Government and DSBD.
