The European Mutual Association for Nuclear Insurance (EMANI) was established in Brussels on the 1st October 1978. One of the mutual’s main objectives is to provide the means whereby European nuclear power generating authorities and other nuclear plant operators can share in the insured / reinsured participation of members' nuclear facilities. Another objective is to create a vehicle, enabling the mutual to obtain additional capacity for its members..
