I hope this letter finds you all well and safe. As you know, in light of the Coronavirus situation and to ensure the safety of all participants we have decided to postpone the Elevcon Congress from June 2020 to May 2022. I am delighted to invite you to Prague for Elevcon 2022, the 23rd International Congress on Vertical Transportation. I believe that ELEVCON 2022 will be a great opportunity for all of us to meet once again, after so long, to network, exchange ideas and develop our industry. The IAEE Scientific Committee plans an excellent program covering all major aspects of vertical transportation during 3 days, which I am sure will have a great impact on the innovative future of the vertical transportation industry. Prague is the spectacular capital of the Czech Republic. The City of a Hundred Spires on the Vltava River is known to people from all over the world and ranks among the most beautiful cities in Europe. Our upcoming congress will be held at the newly designed Grandior Hotel Prague, perfectly situated in the city center of Prague, from the 31st of May to the 2nd of June 2022. On behalf of IAEE I would like to extend a warm welcome to our members and colleagues and to those who are relatively new to our industry. Your participation in Elevcon 2022 will introduce you to the top personalities in the vertical transportation industry and offer you the opportunity to meet colleagues from all around the world. Looking forward to seeing you in Prague 2022. Simha Lustig, of Tel Aviv, Israel, passed away on 7 December 2019, aged 93. Simha and his wife Rita, both survivors of the Holocaust, immigrated to Israel in June 1950, following his graduation as an electrical engineer from the University of Bratislava in Slovakia.
