CIEE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing peace through people-to-people intercultural exchange. Since 1947, CIEE has built bridges between different people, countries, and cultures through study abroad and international exchange programs, helping over 1.5 million young people develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world.
Today, CIEE serves more than 50,000 participants annually through college and high school study abroad, global internship, BridgeUSA, and other international exchange programs. With programs in more than 45 cities across 30+ countries and as the largest U.S. Department of State BridgeUSA sponsor, CIEE expands access to life-changing international experiences that develop global perspectives, strengthen career readiness, and nurture friendships that transcend borders.
Founded in 1860, Augustana College is a selective four-year residential college of the liberal arts and sciences. The college offers 90 majors and areas of study, a student-faculty ratio of 12:1, average class sizes of 18, 25 varsity athletic teams and 13 music ensembles.
Augustana is recognized for the innovative program Augie Choice, which provides each student up to $2,000 to pursue a high-impact learning experience such as study abroad, an internship or research with a professor.
