Eden Gate is a small but influential Christian charity working tirelessly in the expanding city of Newport, South Wales, providing daily support for those experiencing homelessness and those who find themselves placed in temporary accommodation, often with access to limited resources. Eden Gate runs a varied programme of support activities, partnering with churches, other professional agencies, third sector organisations and a number of key local businesses to deliver our life transforming services. We aim to work intentionally with our guests to help them move from what is often a position of despair, regret and uncertainty, to one of hope, security and purpose. Our desire is to be a centre of excellence in all that we do. Our reminder to guests is always ‘homeless, not helpless’.
