Digital sovereignty and cyber resilience cannot be achieved with patch solutions. Switching cloud providers does not solve structural risk. Real resilience requires a fundamental architectural shift: moving access control away from centralized data collection points and back to the true origin of data - connected devices. That is what Ecosteer delivers. We enable device-level control of data access, independent of service and software providers. Each device becomes an autonomous cryptographic unit, generating and rotating its own keys - preventing attacks from moving laterally across networks. Digital sovereignty emerges from a small Copernican shift: placing the origin of data at the center of the digital ecosystem. Based on a patented multicast end-to-end encryption scheme, the Data Visibility Control Overlay allows individuals to directly and unilaterally grant and revoke data visibility to selected stakeholders, automating compliance with the GDPR. Data streams flow from the point of origin to the point of usage encrypted, where they can be decrypted only with the explicit consent of the data owner. As an additional layer of Data Governance over standard privacy and security technologies, the DVCO enables neutral data exchanges, free from costs and liabilities associated with centralized consent management.
