Mission Statement “The mission of DV8 Training Ltd is to improve the life opportunities of young people in London and the South East area through high quality innovative training in the creative industries” Between 2000 and 2012, Dv8 Training have developed its core offers of courses in music, media, events, performance and fashion. The key to the design of these courses was for young people to have the opportunity to create, produce and work on industry standard projects including events, music videos, music compilations, youth magazines and websites. Our work placements and apprenticeships have placed young people at most of the entertainment and media industries market leaders including Adidas, Orange Rock Corps, MTV, Festival Republic, ITN & MOBO's just to name a few. The success of all Dv8 courses is principally due to the dedicated and expert staff team who are all specialists and experts from the creative industries as well as qualified teachers and support workers. It has always been very important to Dv8 to provide the range of expert support to young people to overcome challenges in their lives and to enable them to access and improve their education. This ethos has been central to the achievements of the 3000 young people that have attended Dv8 courses since 1999. Ofsted stated in 2008 that “Dv8 are outstanding at meeting the needs and interests of learners” and rated Dv8 as a good provider with outstanding features.
