Established in 1996 and operating from the historic Britannia Test House in Middlesbrough, our facilities combine heritage engineering capability with modern heavy-load testing infrastructure. Originally constructed for testing steel components for the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the site remains one of the UK’s most significant heavy testing facilities. We provide tensile and compression load testing up to 3000 tonnes, supporting civil engineering, offshore, crane and structural projects. Our services also include lifting equipment sales and hire, LOLER inspection, repair, refurbishment, crane servicing and upgrades, alongside specialist wire rope services including socketing and destruction testing.
