Duckpaddle is a family business and the Heritage Swing is a product of 30 years of experience in furniture making. Originally built to display painted trellis for a major garden show, the swing very quickly became one of our most popular designs. Made from sustainable Scandinavian Redwood, a high-quality frame supports a painted trellis structure and a traditional Western Red Cedar shingle roof. The swing itself is comfortably high-backed and comes with an optional arm-restcentre table along with fixed drinks shelves on the frame sides. The main frame can be painted in any colour including Farrow and Ball or RAL etc. The underside of the roof is in traditional tongue and groove style, and can be painted in the same colour as the main frame or in a contrasting colour. The top side of the roof is made from treated baton, which the Western Red Cedar shingles are attached to. The swing's footprint is 140cm deep x 225cm wide x 240cm high. The swing requires a level, solid area as a base and we recommend where possible ensuring the base is a minimum of 150mm larger than the above dimensions so that the posts do not sit directly on the corners. Each swing is made to order a delivery period of four to six weeks is required in busy periods.
