The Sports Car Club of America®, Inc., founded in 1944, is a 67,500-member motorsports organization that incorporates all facets of autocross, rally and road racing at both Club and professional levels. With headquarters in Topeka, Kansas, the SCCA annually sanctions over 2,000 events through its 116 Regions and subsidiary divisions. The MINI Driving Experience in Thermal, CA- just outside Palm Springs- is where you can take classes to learn to master a mighty MINI on the track. You’ll get to power a 228HP steed like a MINI John Cooper Works Hardtop, while absorbing fundamental skills such as emergency braking, proper vision, and high-speed control taught by the top professional driving instructors in the business. A group or corporate event held at the MINI Driving Experience will transmit new teamwork skills that apply both on the road and at the office. Incorporating track as well as work time, our curriculum of activities will boost confidence, loyalty and strengthen team cohesion. You’ll uplift your employees, associates, management members, and even customers, through customized group outings that put everyone behind the wheel. The MINI Driving Experience has large-capacity conference rooms, cafés, WIFI, and gourmet dining options designed and prepared by our very own executive chefs. And, of course, there’s the Thermal track where all group members will experience the excitement you can only get by thrusting a MINI at maximum speed through hairpin turns and a 2,500 foot straightaway. Individual classes include the MINI Autocross & Track School and the MINI Stunt Driving School, where you can learn how to do reverse donuts, J-turn into a parking space, and power slide around the track. The MINI Driving Experience also offers a series of driving experiences such as the MINI Track Drive, where you’ll experience major motoring in a reduced time frame; and the MINI Track Meet during which performance-driving and business connections mix in a session of serious fun. The MINI Driving Experience in Thermal, CA, is the only one of its kind. It’s all revved up to host corporate groups looking for effective team-building experiences, or individual students who want to maximize their MINI aptitude. And MINI ownership is never a pre-requisite for participation in any of our programs.

Located 50 miles east of Los Angeles in Fontana, Auto Club Speedway is California’s premier motorsports facility, hosting over 320 days of track activity and special events each year including NASCAR. The two-mile D-shaped oval is one of the fastest tracks on the NASCAR circuit.
