Down Groups Information

Down is a friend finding app that aims to make the world a less lonely place through in-person meetups. You may have 1000 friends on Instagram or Facebook, but you have probably never reached out to them to hang out before, and it feels uncomfortable to start so you probably end up hanging out with the same five friends over and over again. The thing is, if those five friends aren’t free, you can’t go out. With Down, the next time you want to do something, like play pickup basketball or go to a concert, and your friends are not available, you would be able to create a post on our app and fill out the details, and it will appear on other users’ feeds where they can request to join. The app will then suggest to the host a few requestors, with the creator having final say on forming a friend group to enjoy the event together with, and all you have to do now is have fun.
