Dirt is a social real estate platform that allows locals to share their experiences and insights on Toronto condos through reviews, photos and a 5-star rating. Our story Why we’re doing this Dirt was founded with a rebellious and ambitious mission: to empower the world’s real estate consumers through improved marketplace transparency. For us, this means two things: giving people easy access to objective information that may have been previously hard to get or entirely unavailable, and finding innovative ways to connect consumers, the industry and properties. How we’re doing it To accomplish this, we first recognized that improved marketplace transparency wasn’t going to come from the industry down to the consumer (after all, that’s how the flow of information has historically worked). It was going to have to come from the bottom-up - in other words, from other consumers. It’s for this reason that we crowdsource most of our information. We believe in the power of the crowd. What exactly we’re doing With all of this in mind, we built Dirt. A social real estate platform that allows locals to share their experiences and insights on condo buildings through reviews, photos and a 5-star rating. You’ll find contributions from current and past residents, real estate agents, friends, and enthusiasts who love real estate as much as we do (though probably a little less).
