With the best local merchant database and the largest white-collar user base among all the local-originated websites, Dianping.com also provides targeted online marketing solutions for thousands of local merchants, among which are e-coupons, sponsored listing, group buying, membership card service, and location based service (LBS) such as check-in services. In short, Dianping.com is the Yelp + Groupon + Foursquare of China. How is Dianping doing? As of June 2011, more than 42MM unique users have visited Dianping.com in the last 30 days. Our smart phone application users grew to over 8MM. Website and mobile users combined, Dianping users generated over 500MM page views. Traffic from mobile application grew by 10 times and reached over 50% of our website traffic. Dianping users had contributed nearly 20MM local reviews for its 1.2MM listed local businesses covering nearly 2300 cities of China.
