Devonshire Collective (DC) is a cultural and community organisation rooted in Eastbourne's Devonshire Ward. We work at the meeting point of culture and community. We cultivate a thriving creative ecology in the Devonshire Ward by nurturing artists, inspiring the next generation, and growing community through place-based art initiatives. Our achievements include: - Engaging 1,800+ children and young people annually through free, artist-led learning programmes. - Welcoming 3,000+ visitors each year to free exhibitions at VOLT, our gallery. - Working in long-term partnership with Sanctuary, YMCA, Rooted Community Food and Networx to support our communities. In October 2025, we were named winner of the Creative Excellence Award at the Eastbourne Business Awards 2025, in recognition of our exceptional, inclusive and locally-rooted arts practice. We are one of only two Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisations in Eastbourne.
