We believe the body is the best tool to create lasting cognitive and physical habits. Time and again we've seen the practices and insights we teach, diminish conflict and promote well being. The Akban Detant workshops create a safe learning environment that teaches emotional regulation and empowerment in stressful times and conflicts. These practices and insights are the result of our experience in two diametrical fields – the insights gained from teaching martial arts in AKBAN and the Israeli security situation. The techniques covered in our workshops, provide a complete and exact set of tools. Using these techniques and practices with the cognitive, the emotional and the physical, we create a cross-influence. But it is mainly through the physical – meaning, achieved through body – practices, that we can set a measured reaction, stay focused and maintain control in emotionally chaotic situations.
