Desmon Spa (The Middleby Corp., NASDAQ: MIDD) is one of the biggest European producers of Laboratory and Catering Cold Storage equipment such as refrigerators, freezers and walk-in coldrooms. We are proud to be a manufacturer with a full production cycle which includes processing of raw materials, moulding and foaming housings, assembling and installation of cooling units, final assembly of cabinets, testing and packaging. The manufacturing facilities are located in Italy and ISO 9001 certified. All models correspond to the strictest CE requirements for quality and performance; they have modern look and attractive appearance. We sell our products in more than 60 countries through network of international distributors, key accounts and industrial partners. Respect for environment was always a concern for the company. Recently all production processes have been re-designed with an aim to minimize impact on environment and make products as "green" as possible when delivering clear benefits for customers in terms of low energy consumption, simple use and easy maintenance. Desmon was one of the first companies in Europe to introduce cyclopentane foam for thermal insulation of refrigerators, a gas which does not harm ozone layer and produces no greenhouse gases. The new refrigerators with R290 cooling gas consume 30% (!) less energy and emit less noise than traditional models available on market. As an appraisal of such a commitment Desmon Spa obtained ISO14001 certificate for ecological management.
