Delta Environmental Centre Information

Delta Environmental Centre is a private, independent Non-Profit Company that aims through innovative education and training programmes and consultation, to enable people to improve the quality of the environment by promoting the management and sustainable use of all resources in line with the South African Constitution. Delta Environmental Centre's Mission is to - Create awareness about environmental issues by imparting and sharing appropriate knowledge. Introduce new skills and enhance participants' existing skills. Develop responsible values and attitudes towards the environment. Encourage participation in environmental action projects (DEC) has matured into a leading institution in the field of environmental education, training, consultation and hiring the venue. All our programmes use Delta Environmental Centre, as well as the park itself, extensively. Our school environmental programmes are designed to meet the curriculum requirements at all levels and are aligned with the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) requirements. Our adult training programmes are aligned with SETA requirements.
