Sym is an interactive light that visualises breathing, synthesising technology, art and wellbeing. Using custom sensors, the participant's breathing is visualised in a soothing light, picking up deep slow diaphragm breathing. The experience allows the participant/s to focus on breath and breathing through the belly which activates the parasympathetic nervous system, improving physical, emotional and cognitive states overall. It is made for everyone from mindfulness and meditation practitioners to anxiety sufferers, for home and workplace use.
