DBM India (formerly Dharma Bharathi Mission) equips underserved youth and women in Mumbai with the skills, certification and placements to move from school to a stable livelihood — breaking the cycle of poverty for their families. Our core strength is skill development. Through market-aligned vocational courses; para-nursing, BFSI, IT and early-childhood care & education (ECCED); we take young people from training to certification to jobs and enterprise, with a deliberate focus on women. This is reinforced by Udaan mentorship for students in Grades 9–12, scholarships, and foundational school support including our midday-meal programme. Our impact as on 31.3.2026 * 23000+ youth and women trained in employable skills * 45,000+ children supported through education * 1 Crore+ midday meals served * 18+ years on the ground in underserved Mumbai (M-ward and beyond) Our work maps directly to CSR priorities under Schedule VII of the Companies Act - skill development, livelihood enhancement, education and women's empowerment (SDG 1 & 4). We partner with corporates to design, deliver and transparently report measurable, outcome-led programmes. Credentials: DBM India is an initiative of Navasrushti International Trust — registered under 12A, 80G and CSR-1, with NGO Darpan registration; audited annual reports published since 2015; Child Safeguarding and POSH policies in place.
